Summary: Student loan debt in the US, now over $1.5 trillion, only continues to grow. With the well-publicized crisis worsening, there seems to be little anyone can do to prevent the issue from escalating.
"There are over 44 million borrowers on the line for paying back servicers such as Navient, whose role in this is further complicated as they are dragged into court amidst allegations of leading student loan borrowers astray."
