A court can award the husband his solely-owned business and order that he pay the wife $500 per month as a return on her contribution to his business. The parties married in April 2011. The wife purchased the marital residence prior the marriage and earned $1,514 gross per week as a hospital nurse. Defendant husband earned $1,260 gross per week as a municipal firefighter and $49,920 gross per year from his solely owned trucking business. The court dissolved the marriage and ordered the husband to pay the wife $500 per month for 22 months, as a return on the wife's contributions to his trucking business. The court awarded the wife the marital residence, the 2008 Saab, the 1999 Volkswagen Cabriole, a solar umbrella, the family pet, "Otis," and a bike. The court awarded the husband his trucking business, the 2011 Ford Mustang, the 1999 Ford F-150 and the 19990 Kenworth Tractor. The court ordered the parties to hold each other harmless from debt.
