Mr. Balaguer is the Managing Partner of the Firm's Delaware office. He is a member of the Litigation Department with significant jury trial experience. Mr. Balaguer concentrates his practice on complex litigation, including the representation of defendants in medical malpractice and other healthcare related cases, other professional liability matters and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Balaguer has also handled product liability, toxic tort, construction and premises liability matters.
Mr. Balaguer attended Allegheny College and received his B.A. from the University of Delaware in 1981. He received his J.D. with honors from the Widener University School of Law in 1985. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Balaguer is a member of the Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and Defense Counsel of Delaware.
Mr. Balaguer is also a member of the Delaware Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
