The Tragic Dangers of Duck Boats

A recent, preventable disaster involving duck boats happened near Branson, Missouri, killing 17 people (nine of them belonged to one family) on July 19. The outing was used as part of a tour of the area, including a ride on Table Rock Lake. Soon after the 74-year-old vehicle went into the water, high waves caused by a sudden storm swamped it, causing it to capsize and sink.
