Ms. Borja also has extensive experience in New Jersey family law, ranging from annulment, contested and uncontested divorce matters, custody/parenting time, spousal support/alimony, child support and issues involving distribution of marital assets.  

Ms. Borja also has a strong background in administrative and criminal law.  Prior to establishing Borja Law Firm, she was an associate with Timothy R. Smith and Associates, where she handled residential real estate transactions and focused on employment law and criminal defense of public employees for the State of New Jersey, such as teachers and police officers, in the Office of Administrative Law, Municipal and Superior Courts.

Ms. Borja is admitted to practice law in States of New York and New Jersey, and the Federal District Court of New Jersey.   Ms. Borja graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Rutgers University and she earned her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School.  During law school, Ms. Borja served as a judicial extern to Honorable Doris Ling-Cohan, Justice of the New York Supreme Court.
